Day 1: Arrival – White Water Rafting – Transfer to Senaru

1. General Conditions

  • 1.1. The trekker must be physically and mentally healthy and capable of taking responsibility for themselves during the trek. However, trekkers with chronic illnesses (e.g., heart disease, severe asthma, uncontrolled hypertension, unstable diabetes, epilepsy) or pregnant women are advised not to participate. Additionally, individuals with acrophobia (fear of heights) or psychological conditions should abstain for safety.
  • 1.2. The minimum trekker age is 10 years, while the maximum is 60 years. Nevertheless, exceptions may apply with medical approval.

2. Fees and Payment

  • 2.1. Trekking fees are determined by the organizer based on the selected package and may change per internal policies.
  • 2.2. To confirm booking, clients must pay a 25% deposit of the total cost.
  • 2.3. Full payment must be completed before the departure date.
  • 2.4. The deposit is non-refundable, except in extraordinary cases (e.g., official route closure or force majeure).
  • 2.5. If a client cancels after full payment, the 25% deposit will be deducted. Note that refund transfer fees are the client’s responsibility.

3. Trekking Equipment and Behavior

  • 3.1. The organizer provides equipment (tents, mats, utensils, etc.), but trekkers must bring personal items (clothes, shoes, medications).
  • 3.2. Trekkers must follow the guide’s and porter’s directions.
  • 3.3. Strictly prohibited: drugs, alcohol, weapons, or environmental damage.
  • 3.4. All waste must be carried down per “leave no trace” principles. Furthermore, to align with Mount Rinjani National Park’s Zero Waste policy, single-use items will be replaced with reusable alternatives. Thus, trekkers must commit to waste minimization.

4. Safety and Security

  • 4.1. The operator may cancel/postpone departures if weather or terrain poses dangers.
  • 4.2. While trekkers are responsible for their safety, the operator will assist in emergencies.
  • 4.3. The included park entrance ticket covers official insurance for the trek duration

5. Force Majeure

  • 5.1. The operator is not liable for losses due to force majeure (natural disasters, extreme weather, riots, etc.).

6. Additional Terms

  • 6.1. Trekkers agree to comply with all park and operator regulations.
